Practical Educational Experience includes 3 or more years of work in wealth management or similar industry work. Completion of recognized educational courses. You may receive preference with a masters degree, MBA, CPA, CFA, wealth management certificate, PhD, DBA, or Law Degree from an accredited university or college along with relevant industry experience. Managers, executives, and professionals with 5 or more years of experience may take our 5 day on-site executive training courses with exit exams to secure AAFM designation in 10 different nations.

Candidates must complete AAFM self study course, other relevant courses, approved certificates, or existing designation training of which would be reviewed by the board of standards. Masters degree, CPA, PhD, CFA, and other degrees and designations may apply to meet educational and testing requirements.

A minimum of 15 hours per year which can be from an official AAFM CE Continuing Education Distributer or approved AACSB accredited business school.
